The problem
The Food Show runs in several New Zealand cities each year, and every show has its own dates, venue, exhibitors, recipes and stage programme. With hundreds of exhibitors, a site that needed a developer or a single content editor to update every listing would fall behind before the first show opened.

What we built
The public website, and, more importantly, the content management behind it. Xpo staff manage the shows and the editorial content; exhibitors manage their own listings. The site then brings that together into a showcase of the event, with the next show announced on the home page and recipes, exhibitor information and visitor detail underneath.

The result
A website that stays current across a multi-city calendar because the people who hold the information are the ones who enter it. The old site published no visitor or exhibitor figures, so none are claimed here.
Key takeaways
- Applicable built The Food Show website for Xpo Exhibitions.
- Xpo staff and exhibitors manage their own content; the site assembles it into the showcase.
- The approach keeps a multi-city event site current without a developer in the loop.
