App La Carte Limited is a New Zealand web development company based in Auckland. This site is applicable.co.nz.
What we collect and why
Contact form
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, company, phone number if you give it, and your message. We use them to reply to you and, if you become a client, to run the project. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which records your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots; Google's privacy policy applies to that check.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA set their own, described in their policies above.
Embedded content
A page may embed content from another site, such as a map or a video. That content behaves as if you had visited the other site and may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and, for clients, for the life of the engagement and the period our accounting and legal obligations require. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule.
Who we share it with
The services named above (Google reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics) and the provider that stores and delivers form enquiries. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, except where we have to keep it for legal, accounting or security reasons. Phone 021 160 1237 or use the contact form.
